I have lived in the mountains for many years and still I discover beautiful areas and walks that are new to me. I hope that the art I created will give you some of the enthusiasm for looking into the many places that show aspects of this special area.

My Development as an artist.
I have been involved for many years teaching and working with a variety of art mediums. Most of the work that I am showing here are oil and acrylic paintings.
I owe much of the development of my technique to an Australian Landscape artist, Len Hend. He has been generous enough to post many videos on his website, and on YouTube, that demonstrate and explain valuable painting skills.
The paintings I am showing on this site are mainly of well known places in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia, but I also include pictures of some of the beautiful spots from surrounding areas. I hope that my work captures some of what makes this area special.
The pictures are already mounted in hand made frames. Each one is unique. I receive comments that the frames enhance the artworks.
